Report on Netai Killings

Debjit Dutta, a human rights activist, visited Netai village where seven people were killed on January 7 by armed members of a militia controlled by the ruling party in West Bengal. Two others later died in hospital from their injuries. It was the first time that four women in West Bengal had been killed in firing.
